Requestor

The requester is One who identifies a need for survey and submits a request to carry out a survey for selected vendor.

Requestor could be any one such as Ship Owner, Shipper, Charterer, Buyer, Port authority, Stevedores etc who creates a need for survey.

The platform enable a simple signup procedures for the Requestor.

In order to best use of the platform , it is advisable to give all relevant details so that the Requestor & Vendor relationship can take full advantage of platform.

Operational

RFQ stands for "Request for Quotation." It is a formal document for price quotation & Agreement between Requestor & Vendors.

Requesters typically provide details about the goods, type of service requered, including any details which will help the Vendor to carry out the requirements of the Requestor in the best possible way to fulfil the needs.

These details can be in written while attachment is also possible( Eg.SOP).

RFQ cannot be send to Non registered Vendor .

Yes.

Yes. Vendor can be searched and can be contacted.

A registered Requestor can raised RFQ against any registered Vendor in the platform Login to the Requester Id & Password, Click on Submit RFQ button on the top side.

RFQ can be send only to registered Vendors.
